Good information but getting too expensive for the,average person.

I don't recommend paying for a FMP subscription. Most of the information is available on other subscription sites like Ancestry and the British Library. I have had a subscription since January. Have been working with tech support for over a week due to the fact that a search was coming up negative repeatedly even though I knew there was a document there to review. Tech support kept saying I probably hadn't logged in properly. I sent multiple screen shots, but it took a week before tech support finally sent me a link to the doc that was there all the time. That solved the immediate problem, but I can no longer trust the search engine. It gives false negative results - expensive and time consuming. They won't even give me a partial refund.

Find My Past has helped me locate some records that I was having trouble finding using other sources. I find it’s good to have multiple ways to look for ancestors and I like Find My Past’s format for presenting the records they’ve located - and the ability to indicate with a check mark which ones I’ve reviewed.

Since i've signed up with FindMyPast i've found my Paternal Grandfather for which i'm very elated.I'm still trying to find his birthplace though.I'm continuing my search with findmyPast for other family members.

Company will trick you into signing up for one month but actually it's a monthly subscription. They will continue to take money from your account. Older people in particular beware . This is solely designed to get into your bank account.

I'm still learning how to use Findmypast, but I find it to be an excellent product and I'm sure that as I learn the in and outs of the program, my review could easily go up to five stars.

Not all information is correct. Not able to find known relative information. Can I stop using site and get a refund? Ancestry is better.

Purchased as a gift for our dad. Great way for him to pass the time this long, cold, COVID, Canadian winter!

This was helpful in finding several of my great great uncles who fought and died in WW1. I was not able to find much at all though on my grandmothers family in Scotland though.
